This post is to help others in finding a solution to the problem of highbeam lights only, coupled with no headlight/on alarm ding, no parking lights, side marker or dash lights. As with most things electrical, it can be several things, but here's what I found.
After visually checking and using an ohm meter, to check every blade fuse in the kick panel and on the left front fender fusebox, I was stumped. All tested good and looked good. So finally, I just throuw a brand new fuse into the Clearande Illumination spot, as that keeps coming up on so many posts. I twisted the fuse legs slightly, as suggested by Doug Bakke of Awesome Z in Houston, and then all worked!
I don't know if the fuse was good and it was a bad contact, although when I pulled the fuse, it seemed very tight. So even if the fuse tests good, try a new fuse, it'll cost you about 50 cents.
